Who are we?
The National Diabetes Action Program (NDAP) is Diabetes Australia’s national awareness and prevention initiative.
It supports and links with diabetes programs and health promotion initiatives undertaken by Diabetes Australia’s State and Territory Member Organisations.
The main goals of the NDAP are to:
1. Increase community awareness of diabetes as a serious medical condition.
2. Increase community awareness of perceived susceptibility to type 2 diabetes.
3. Increase community understanding that type 2 diabetes can be prevented.
4. Increase community access to quality information, support and services that have a type 2 diabetes prevention focus.
